Lyric Opera of Chicago is currently recruiting for interns in the Annual Giving, Women’s Board, and Education departments. Interns may work full-time (35 hours/wk) or part-time (10+ hours/week). Interns generally work for a full semester (3-4 months), but may work for longer periods of time (shorter assignments may be made at the discretion of the intern supervisor). Seventeen Magazine is currently hiring accessory and fashion interns for the Winter and Spring/Summer Semesters. We are looking for motivated interns who want to experience the editorial side of the fashion industry. The accessories and fashion interns are responsible for the running of the fashion closet and will get to see how a magazine is put together every month. Activities include going to designer showrooms on market appointments with editors, picking up and dropping off samples, checking clothing in and out of the closet, writing our style blogs, casting our “real girl” models, assisting on photo shoots and working with markets lists.
The position is full time and lasts a semester. It is unpaid and only students who can receive credit are eligible. TRUST needs an intern
We are currently looking for an intern to be the personal assistant for our director on a small independent feature. The position is non-paying and would be a three month commitment beginning around the first week of October.
The film will be shot in and around the Ann Arbor area. We need someone who is organized, personable, able to work a schedule that is continually changing, has strong computer and technology skills, and preferably has worked as an assistant before. This person needs to be fast thinking and be prepared for anything that might come at them at a moments notice.
