The School of Art & Design's exhibition program serves as the vital juncture between studio work and public dialogue, providing an important educational experience for students and a window through which members of the University and local communities become familiar with the work of students, faculty, and staff as well as a broader community of creative practitioners.

The School's hallways also serve as display areas.
Some exhibitions are generated through proposals by members of the A&D community, which include wide-reaching calls for participation; others are traditional annual exhibitions by A&D graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, and staff.
Matt Shlian Featured in New Publication
Work by Matt Shlian is featured in the book Papercraft from Gestalten Press, an extensive survey on the innovative art and design work crafted from paper.
Ruth Taubman: New York and Ann Arbor Shows
Taubman (BFA 1981) is having two upcoming private showings featuring her limited edition and one-of-a-kind jewelry.
Exhibition: Faces
Open Nov 20 - Jan 12 at the Dexter District Library, Faces features interpretations by twelve area artists.
Stewart Brand
On December 03, the Penny W. Stamps Distinguished Visitors Series presents Stewart Brand with Hacking Civilization at the Michigan Theater.
