In January 2006, the School of Art & Design began releasing each lecture in the Penny W. Stamps Distinguished Visitors Series as a free, downloadable podcast. After subscribing to our podcast feed, new installments of the Distinguished Visitors Series will automatically download as they become available.

What is Podcasting?

Podcasting delivers audio and video files to your computer. After subscribing to a feed, new installments of the series will automatically download as they become available. You can use freely available software to listen to or watch the downloaded podcasts on your computer, or to transfer the files to your mp3 player.

What do I need to get podcasts?

To receive our podcasts, you'll need to use software that can subscribe to our feeds. Several programs are available, including the latest version of iTunes (for Mac/Windows) and Juice (for Windows/Mac/Linux). After installing the right application, you should be able to subscribe to our podcast, as well as many others. Portable mp3 players can also be used to listen to audio podcasts on-the-go.

How do I subscribe to the Distinguished Visitors Series Podcast?

To subscribe to any podcast, right-click (or Control-click) the "Penny W. Stamps Distinguished Visitors feed" link and select "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Shortcut", depending on your browser. Then, paste the link into your podcasting software. For further instructions, please check your podcasting application's documentation or help options.
